Vallejo Commercial Epoxy Flooring Overview
Vallejo's commercial floor stock is old, and much of it was poured for heavy industry. The waterfront and Mare Island units come with decades of oil in the concrete, coatings that have been applied two or three times over, trench cuts filled with something that never matched, and saw joints that were rigidly bridged and have cracked again. None of that is a reason to avoid coating the slab. It is the reason the survey has to come first.
We take off whatever will not hold, and specify the build around the traffic and chemicals the space will see once it is in use. That might be a roller-applied epoxy, a broadcast quartz system where grip matters, or a heavier build where the loading justifies it. Those systems are described on our commercial epoxy floor systems page.
