Oakland Commercial Epoxy Flooring Overview
A great deal of Oakland's commercial floor area is public: civic and institutional buildings, community and service premises, ground floor retail, and the front half of a good many offices. What they have in common is that the people who own the floor and the people who walk on it are not the same people, and the ones walking on it are not being careful.
That changes what a good specification looks like. It has to be safe on a wet day at the door rather than only when dry. It has to take carts, deliveries and furniture dragged rather than lifted. And it has to stay acceptable while being cleaned at six in the morning by a contractor working to a schedule nobody in the building sets. What actually goes down, and how the options differ from each other, is set out on our commercial epoxy flooring page.
