What Makes a Commercial Floor Last

Commercial coating failures are rarely about the resin. They come from preparation that never properly opened the concrete, or from a system specified for lighter duty than the floor actually sees.

Built to the traffic it takes

The build is specified to what actually crosses the floor: forklift wheels, pallet trucks, dropped stock and wash-down. Coat thickness, primer and top coat are chosen for that, and the specification is written into the quote rather than left as a product name.

Shot blasting and diamond grinding

Preparation is mechanical, matched to the slab and the system, and taken back to a sound, open concrete profile before anything is applied.

Specified to your loading

Coating thickness and build are chosen around forklift weights, pallet traffic and point loads rather than applied at a default thickness.

Chemical resistance

Where the floor sees solvents, oils, battery acid or aggressive cleaning agents, we specify a system rated for them and tell you the limits in writing.

Slip resistance where needed

Aggregate or quartz broadcast is added in wash-down zones, ramps and walkways to hit the slip resistance the space needs without making it hard to clean.

Line marking and zoning

Traffic lanes, safety zones and bay markings can be laid into the system at installation rather than painted on afterwards where they wear off.

How a Commercial Install Runs

Site survey. We look over the slab and its joints, go through the traffic and chemical exposure the floor takes, and agree how the space can be phased.
Specification and fixed quote. You receive the system, build thickness, preparation method and cure schedule in writing, so bids can be compared like for like.
Mechanical preparation. The slab is shot blasted or ground, joints and cracks are treated, and any repairs are completed before coating begins.
Phased installation. Coats are applied in sequence with correct recoat windows, working nights, weekends or section by section so your operation continues.
Handover. We confirm return-to-service times for foot and vehicle traffic, provide a maintenance schedule and issue the warranty.
